The Story

The Legend of Mulan takes place in a small peaceful village in ancient Southern China.   Mulan is teenaged girl who lives with her loving, widowed father, the village chieftain.

Mulan is a tomboy who prefers hunting and Kung Fu classes to sewing and cooking lessons.

Ho Fat, an evil warlord wants to marry Mulan so that he can gain control of the village.   Ho Fat threatens Papa Fa and demands that he surrender Mulan otherwise Ho Fat will command his army to destroy the village.

Once a strong warrior, Papa Fa is too old to confront Ho Fat to defend his daughter.   Mulan learns of this and decides that she must take her father's place in order to defeat Ho Fat.

Mulan is visited by her guardian angel, Xiao Hwa who helps build Mulan's confidence before her battle with Ho Fat.

Will Mulan save the village?
