LED walls are just a few inches thin, and can be dismantled and moved into a new space more easily than projector displays can. This means you’re not restricted
about the kind of venue in which you are setting up your display.

Why should you consider LED wall rental? There are several benefits to renting an LED wall versus traditional projection displays.
Higher Brightness – Their bright image displays and ease of use make them an attractive option for many different settings: store signage, billboards and other advertising, destination signs, stage shows, indoor displays, and more. Since they’re becoming more widespread, the cost of renting an LED wall is becoming more affordable. The brightness of LED walls is probably the main reason they are supplanting projectors as the top choice of visual technicians. There are several drawbacks to projectors that affect their ability to display clear, crisp images.
Projectors have to transmit the image to a projection screen; the image then has to travel to the viewer’s eyes. So, there’s a larger expanse across which to lose brightness and visibility. LED panels generate their own brightness, so the image is much more vivid when it reaches the viewer.
Superior Display Resolution – HD video is becoming the go-to type and quickly supplanting Standard Definition as the industry norm. LED displays support HD, whereas many projectors are still SD and won’t display HD images at their full resolution.
One area where projectors do have an edge is image size. LED panels can range from about 60 inches, on average, to 90 inches at the large end of the spectrum. Projectors can display images at all sizes, from small to extremely large, easily up to 120 inches (or larger, for more expensive units). However, LED wall displays can always be stacked to create a composite image that’s as large as you want.
Easier Set Up & Fewer Venue Constrains – LED wall displays are much more easy to set up than a projector display, and they turn on much more quickly. Projectors are limited in how and where they can be used. You have to have a large screen and an unimpeded space between the screen and the projector.
The projector has to be mounted high up and in the back of the room or display area, and it has to be connected to a video source. Anything that gets in the way – such as low-hanging lighting fixtures or low ceilings – can become an obstacle. You can project onto a blank wall, but this will diminish the image quality. Instead, you’ll also need to get a high-quality screen to accompany your projector.

Frequently asked questions
LED walls offer significantly higher brightness, better contrast and consistent image quality even in brightly lit rooms. Unlike projectors, they don’t suffer from ambient light washout, require no throw distance, and can be configured in almost any shape or size. They also support true HD (and higher) content with richer colours and deeper blacks.
For most corporate conferences, gala dinners and indoor events we recommend P1.9 to P2.9. Closer pixel pitches (e.g. P1.9) deliver sharper images when viewers are closer to the screen, while P2.6–P2.9 work well for larger viewing distances and offer excellent value. Our team will advise the best pitch based on your venue size, audience distance and content type.
A typical mid-size LED wall (for example 3m × 2m or similar) usually takes 2-3 hours to install, including cabling, calibration and content testing. Larger or more complex configurations may need 3-6 hours or a day-before setup. Strike (dismantling) is generally faster. We always coordinate access times carefully with the venue.
LED walls require stable, dedicated power circuits and proper load distribution. Power consumption varies by size and brightness settings, but our technicians calculate exact requirements during the site survey. We also handle signal distribution, media servers or playback systems, and ensure seamless integration with your presentation or live-feed sources.
Please note that venues will charge for extra power consumption with fees usually starting from HK$8,000 and up.
Yes — with the right weather-rated cabinets and proper power/weather protection, outdoor or semi-outdoor installations are possible. Indoors, LED walls are highly flexible and can be ground-stacked, flown or built into stage sets. Because they are modular and relatively thin, they work well even in venues with height or access limitations that would challenge traditional projection.
